Police Arrest Criminal Gang Involved in Robbery and Highway Attacks in Dar Naim

Specialized police units arrested a criminal gang involved in robbery and highway attacks, following several reports received last night about knife assaults targeting five citizens, including a soldier, in the Ten Soueilim area of Dar Naim district.
According to security sources, investigation teams from various police departments immediately launched field inquiries and intelligence gathering, which led, within about three hours, to the arrest of one gang member. The operation was then expanded to apprehend the remaining suspects, including individuals with prior criminal records involved in other cases.
The sources added that the detainees confessed to committing the attacks, and a mobile phone belonging to one of the victims was found in the possession of one suspect.
Investigations are still ongoing to uncover all cases in which the suspects are believed to be involved, before referring them to the public prosecutor upon completion of all legal procedures.
